Overview of remote sensing tools and technology through a conservation lens

This presentation will enable session attendees to become informed consumers of remote sensing products. We define being an informed consumer as having a working knowledge of the suitability of remote sensing products for specific conservation applications and to a lesser degree an understanding of the base technology upon which those products are based. A reference chart of available remote sensing resources available for conservation planning will be available for participants.
