Panel Discussion Using TEK in Large Landscape Conservation

The panel will include all seven presenters from these two linked sessions and discussions with the audience.  Panel participants will discuss the following:  1) lessons learned for improving interactions between western science and traditional ecological knowledges (TEKs); 2) concerns related to bridging TEKs in a culturally-appropriate and tribally-led way with partners on large landscape conservation and climate adaptation; and 3) recommendations for developing successful partnerships.
