Project tracking is a critical need for not just the Landscape Conservation Cooperatives, but LCC partners as well. The challenge facing the LCC Network is the scale and range of project inputs -- the 23 LCCs work independently, address region-specific needs, and must consider legacy partner agency workflows. Any imposed solution was doomed to fail; the conceptual basis for any national reporting system would have to start at the individual LCC level and build up to a national system. To address this challenge the LCC Integrated Data Management Network established a working group to describe and prototype a system that aggregates project metadata from the different types of project tracking systems employed by the LCCs. The working group built upon the previous National Project Catalog by adopting that effort's metadata standard and developing data transfer options and a demonstration aggregation site in ScienceBase. This presentation will walk through the implementation of the LCC National project catalog as well as options for LCC project tracking applications that can contribute project information to the national system. Together these systems allow management better insight into individual project progress and outcomes.
