Urban and Suburban Conservation: What an Opportunity!

Friday, October 24, 2014: 11:00 AM

This presentation will focus on the opportunity for real wildlife conservation results in urban and suburban settings. National Wildlife Federation's 40 plus year Gardening for Wildlife program has reached over 150,000 homes, schools, businesses, and places of worship. Two new initiatives will be shared including a focused campaign on congregations that also addresses stormwater management. A native plant database in cooperation with Dr. Doug Tallamy and the US Forest Service will also be shared.

I look forward to revising this abstract next week.
