Biographical Sketch:
Joe McCauley has 31 years of experience with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, including serving as assistant refuge manager at Supawna Meadows NWR in southern New Jersey, deputy refuge manager at Back Bay NWR in Virginia Beach, and refuge manager at Rappahannock River Valley, James River, Presquile, and Plum Tree Island refuges in eastern Virginia. Mr. McCauley also served three tours of duty at the Fish and Wildlife Service’s Northeast Regional Office as a land protection biologist, coordinator of the Atlantic Coast Joint Venture, and currently as Regional Chief of the Division of Realty for the National Wildlife Refuge System. He graduated Cum laude with a B.S. in Wildlife Management from West Virginia University in 1984.
