Biographical Sketch:
Bob Bendick is the Gulf of Mexico Program Director of TNC and has had a 35 year career in conservation with an emphasis on planning for and implementing conservation of large landscapes. Prior to returning to the Gulf, he was Director of U.S. Government Relations for TNC in Washington where he worked on large landscape policy issues. Before his assignment in Washington he was Southern Regional Director and Florida Chapter Director at TNC where he worked on large scale forest and river conservation projects. He has held leadership positions in state government conservation agencies in New York and Rhode Island.
