Biographical Sketch: John Young is a Research Biologist with the USGS Leetown Science Center in West Virginia. Mr. Young’s research emphasizes the use of landscape analysis techniques to examine factors influencing the distribution of species and their habitats in a variety of settings. Most recently, he is assisting USGS managers in implementing the Bureau’s response to Hurricane Sandy.
