Biographical Sketch:
Ms. Hill works for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) where she is the Director of the Pennsylvania Wilds Program. The Pennsylvania Wilds Program is a nature tourism and community revitalization initiative in North Central and Northwestern Pennsylvania. The Program is a strategic approach to enhance visitor experiences, protect and conserve the area’s treasured resources, and strengthen the economic vitality and quality of life of rural communities in the 12 ½ county region. Prior to this position, Ms. Hill was DCNR’s Greenways and Land Use Coordinator where she managed implementation of Pennsylvania’s Statewide Greenways Plan. Before coming to DCNR, she held several management positions with Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection. She also served the Pennsylvania State Legislature as a Legislative Fellow working with the Game and Fisheries and Bi-partisan Management Committees. Ms. Hill holds academic degrees in Environmental Resource Management and Public Service, both from Penn State University.
