Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Kurt Kowalski is a research wetland ecologist with the USGS – Great Lakes Science Center in Ann Arbor, MI. His research interests include the ecology, rehabilitation, and management of coastal wetlands in the Great Lakes basin, including hydrologic reconnection of coastal wetlands and innovative and sustainable control strategies for Phragmites (common reed) and other invasive plant species.
