Biographical Sketch: Jeff Schaeffer is a Research Fishery Biologist at USGS Great Lakes Science Center in Ann Arbor, MI. He has been working in the Great Lakes since 1998 in a variety of capacities, with most time spent in the GLSC deepwater science program. He moved into the Coastal Ecology branch about two years ago, and is interested in rivermouths, nearshore fish communities, and urban revitalization.
