Biographical Sketch: Mike Houts works for the Kansas Biological Survey as a GIS specialist conducting wildlife and landscape analysis. For the last 10 years Mike has worked on a cooperative agreement with the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism as their GIS specialist. He was the GIS lead for Kansas in the Western Governors CHAT project, and is now the GIS lead for the Southern Great Plains CHAT and the lesser prairie chicken range-wide plan.
