Biographical Sketch:
James Broska has been the Science Coordinator for the Great Plains LCC since April, 2010 where he works to bring together partners in the science and research community with resource managers. Although working for the US Fish and Wildlife Service for over 15 years, he started his career with the US Geological Survey conducting hydrogeological investigations that combined field studies with numerical modeling of groundwater. Upon transferring to the US Fish and Wildlife Service, he served for 11 years as a Regional Hydrologist working on issues related to surface water and groundwater hydrology, coastal hydrology, and water rights. James has a Bachelor’s of Science in Geosciences from SUNY at Buffalo and a Master’s of Science in Hydrogeology from the University of South Florida.
