Biographical Sketch: Born in the Blue Ridge mountains of GA, Rua received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. As the Science Coordinator for the South Atlantic Landscape Conservation Cooperative he helps people and organizations work together to sustain the region's natural environment and cultural heritage.
