Kathy Peterson
Friends of the Angeles National Forest
Biographical Sketch: As a career employee of the USDA Forest Service, Kathy served on national forests in Washington State, Alaska, and southern California, holding positions in land management planning, public affairs, and civil engineering. After her retirement from the Forest Service in 2008, Kathy began a private consulting business. Her areas of expertise include environmental analysis, strategic planning, collaborative problem solving, partnership development, and project management. Since 2010, Kathy has worked with the Forest Service and the National Forest Foundation to establish the Friends of the Angeles – a coalition that works together to build strong partnerships in support of the Angeles National Forest and the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument.
