Biographical Sketch:
Nicholas Fisichelli is an ecologist with the Climate Change Response Program of the U.S. National Park Service. He works with national park managers to understand climate change and related resource responses and to develop effective adaptation strategies. He develops and synthesizes management-relevant science, including climate change effects to forests, mammals, birds, and park operations. Prior to his current position, Nick was a Fulbright Fellow in Germany and earned his Ph.D. in forest ecology from the University of Minnesota in 2012. He also previously worked for the National Park Service in Natural Resource and Wildland Fire Management at Shenandoah National Park and Lassen Volcanic National Park.
