Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Todd E. Hopkins is the Science Coordinator for the Great Basin Landscape Conservation Cooperative; a five-state, self-directed applied science partnership supporting conservation efforts through production and dissemination of applied science for natural and cultural resource management decision makers. Before coming to the Great Basin, Dr. Hopkins worked on the Everglades Restoration Program where he co-chaired the Everglades Adaptive Assessment and Management Team, helped write the Department of Interior’s Science Plan for South Florida, and represented the Service on the Science Coordination Group of the DOI South Florida Task Force. Dr. Hopkins has held science, regulatory, and leadership positions with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and two National Estuarine Research Reserves.
