Biographical Sketch: Christopher Galik serves as a Senior Policy Associate in the Duke University Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions. His work focuses on the development and evaluation of landowner incentives for at-risk species management, the practical implications of offsets policy design, and the potential use of domestic biomass resources for bioenergy. Prior to joining the Institute, Christopher spent several years in Washington D.C. as a policy analyst, specializing in species conservation and federal forest management policy. Christopher holds a B.A. in Biology from Vassar College, a M.E.M. from Duke University, and is currently a PhD candidate in the College of Natural Resources at North Carolina State University.
