Biographical Sketch: Amanda Bassow is the Director of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s Eastern Partnership Office. Amanda joined the Foundation in 2006 after nine years at the Environmental Protection Agency, where she promoted community-based environmental management and innovations in EPA’s watershed programs as a policy analyst in the Office of Policy, Economics and Innovation. Amanda also served as the community watershed coordinator at EPA’s Chesapeake Bay Program office, where she developed resources, tools and networks to support local watershed management in the context of the overall Chesapeake Bay restoration effort. Amanda holds a Masters in Public Policy from Duke University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington.
