Building Trails and Partnerships in the Ohio & Erie NHC

One of the key components of the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area is a 101-mile multi-use recreational trail that travels from the lakefront in Cleveland, through Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the heart of downtown Akron and the canal towns of Canal Fulton, Massillon and Zoar.  Dan Rice will share examples of how the development of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and regional trail plans have stimulated community and economic development along the Ohio & Erie Canal in northeast Ohio.
