Biographical Sketch: David O'Neill oversees NFWF conservation activities across the country. From 2002 to 2007, he served as executive director of the Chesapeake Bay Trust, which was created by the Maryland General Assembly to support Chesapeake Bay restoration. During his tenure, he increased the Trust’s conservation funding portfolio by more than 225 percent. Mr. O’Neill also served as a vice president at Cherokee Investment Partners, a private equity firm focused on brown fields redevelopment. He has lectured on land use and environmental issues at conferences and seminars across the nation and internationally. He joined NFWF in 2010 as Director of the Eastern Partnership Office.
