Biographical Sketch:
Eric is the Director of Yukon Parks where he is responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of Yukon’s wilderness parks and protected areas, Heritage Rivers and an extensive network of campgrounds and recreation sites. In his prior role as Director of Yukon’s Climate Change Secretariat, Schroff was responsible for furthering Yukon Government’s contribution to global climate change efforts and providing leadership in the coordination of action on climate change. Schroff served as Yukon government’s designee to the Federal-Provincial- Territorial negotiating committees for national and international climate change discussions. Schroff has extensive public service and private sector experience in natural resource management, operations, conservation and business gained over 35 years of working and playing in forests and boardrooms in British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Washington State and Yukon. Schroff has a BSc in Forest Management and a MSc in Forest Planning and Administration, both from Oregon State University.
